Join the CHS for a community bean supper to honor our 2026 volunteers, who make all the work that we do at the CHS possible. Maine bean suppers are a traditional way for communities to gather, chat, and break bread over a good meal. In that spirit, we’re inviting our local community to join us to celebrate a great season at the CHS.

This is a free event, though we will gratefully accept donations to continue to offer the same great programs, lectures, exhibits, and events next year.

This event will take place at Emerson Hall in Castine at 67 Court Street. RSVP not required but suggested to ensure we have enough beans!
