Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
Time: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Join the CHS for a family-friendly art making event! Participants will be able to make their own artwork inspired by the artwork of Francis Hamabe. Join CHS Executive Director Kate McMahon for a walk through the exhibition to find inspiration. Then, participants will create their own stamps (or use stamps provided) to make unique pieces of art inspired by the work of Hamabe celebrating the Maine coast. Snacks and drinks will also be provided.

Artists will have the opportunity to display their creations in the CHS’s Mitchell Room with a special art opening and reception during our Volunteer Appreciation Day Bean Supper in August.

Appropriate for ages 3 and up. Families welcome! RSVP strongly encouraged to ensure we have enough materials.
