Holiday Pop-Up Shop 2023

Castine is a great place for holiday shopping this year with vibrant and varied stores downtown.  The Castine Historical Society is joining the excitement with their own Holiday Pop-Up Shop located in Compass Rose Books at 3 Main Street.

The Holiday Pop-Up Shop will be open from December 4th through December 23th, daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to noon on December 24th.  For those unable to make these hours or who are not in town, items can also be purchased in our Online Shop.  Gifts can be shipped or picked up at the Historical Society.

Among the items available for purchase are Castine or nautical-themed gift items, wine glasses and charms, beverage holders, ornaments, hats, bags, and mugs. Another fantastic giving opportunity is purchasing a gift membership to the Castine Historical Society for friends and family. Click here to purchase a membership online.

Executive Director Lisa Lutts says, “We are so pleased to partner again with our friends at Compass Rose Books.  They generously allow us space to display our gift shop merchandise at a time when we are closed to the public.”
