PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADVANCE:
Tour Tickets are available for purchase at this link. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting the Castine Historical Society via email at info@castinehistoricalsociety.org or by calling (207) 326-4118 during regular business hours.
Early bird tickets are $50.00 per person and available through July 12th. After that date, Tour tickets are $60 per person.
Tour Tickets will be available for in-person purchase on the day of the event at the following locations from 9:30am – 3:30pm. Cash, Credit Cards, and Apple Pay are accepted.
- Stevens Street Parking Area, Corner of Pleasant & Stevens Street
- Castine Historical Society at 13 School Street

Purchasing Tickets

- Can I purchase tickets the day of the tour?

- Yes! There will be signs on your way into town that will direct you where to purchase tickets. You can pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, check, or cash.

Day of The Tour
- The Tour will run from 10 AM-4 PM, rain or shine.
- No refunds will be available.
Ticket Holder Tour Check-In
- Check-in for ticket holders will be located in the Stevens Street Parking Area at the Corner of Pleasant & Stevens Street.
- Brochures and maps will be provided at check-in.
Directions to Check-in and Parking
- There will be signs as you drive into Castine that will direct you to the Check-In, Tour Parking and Shuttle locations.
- We strongly recommend you park in one of the designated parking areas and either walk or use the Shuttle service to the homes and gardens. Castine is a busy place in the summer and there is very limited street parking
Shuttle Service
- Shuttles will be available to transport visitors to the houses & gardens on the Tour, to downtown Castine, to parking areas, etc. They will be easily identifiable and can be flagged down, if necessary.
Tour Guidelines
- Smoking is not permitted in the homes or anywhere on the grounds.
- No photography is permitted inside homes, including cell phones.
- No spike heels. Booties will be provided and should be worn inside the homes.
- Large bags and umbrellas are not permitted in homes.
- All children must be supervised and accompanied by an adult.
- Pets are not permitted inside homes. If you bring your dog to walk around Castine, please be prepared to clean up after your pet.
- Please respect the properties by staying within walkways and respect the neighbors’ privacy.
Recommendation
- For your comfort and safety, please wear flat walking shoes, watch for steps and uneven surfaces as you visit the homes and gardens.
